Cambridge, part of the Boston metropolitan area, is situated directly north of Boston,
across the Charles River. Settlement was founded in 1630 and called Newtowne. Name was changed
to Cambridge in 1638. It was incorporated as a city in 1846.
Harvard University, MIT, Lesley University, and Hult Business School are in Cambridge.
