Brantford

Brantford is a city in southwestern Ontario on Grand River, about 100km west of Toronto. Brantford is named after Joseph Brant, an important Mohawk chief during the American Revolutionary War. The city's famous resident, Alexander Graham Bell, invented the device at his father's homestead, now the Bell Museum.
Brantford was incorporated as a city in 1877.
